Help with dialog -.-

Hello ppl

I started like the idea to put a dialog (only for RED player) and let you choose ,
if you want "Friendly Fire" .. with 2 buttons .. "YES" or "NO"

Then if yes allow,if no disallow ! But how to dissalow friendly fire? (yes,it remembers me counterstrike )

And how im gonna create the dialog ? I tryied to read your tutorial ,but i stack ..cause i want 2 choices !

If no then use this as a temporary solution:

Events - a unit comes within 500/300/100 of (unit)

Conditions - (triggering unit) belongs to an ally of (owner of (unit)

Actions - order (triggering unit) to stop.

You say friendly fire, do you mean you can attack allies?

This may be of help..

If you change "targets allowed" on a unit and check "enemy" then im pretty sure they can only target enemies. There (might?) be a way to put that into triggers.

Im noob too and I would also like to see how to create dialogs...

First of all,my units are not melee so "Events - a unit comes within.." will work?

Does anyone know about dialogs?

Here are the triggers you'll need:
Trigger 1:

Event - Elapsed game time is 2 seconds
Conditions - None
Action - Change title of <dialog, this is a variable> to "Friendly fire?"
Action - Create a dialog button for <dialogvariable> labeled "Yes"
Action - Set <dialogbuttonvariableYes> Equal to last created dialog button
Action - Create a dialog button for <dialogvariable> labeled "No"
Action - Set <dialogbuttonvariableNo> Equal to last created dialog button
Action - Show <dialogvariable> for Player 1 (Red)

That's trigger 1. Trigger 2 looks like this:

Event - A dialog button is clicked for <dialogvariable>
Condition - None
Action - If (Clicked dialog button Equal to <dialogbuttonvariableYes>) Then do
Then actions:
--Action - Turn on trigger 3
Else do
Else actions:
--Action - Do nothing
End of if statement)
Action - Hide <dialogvariable> for Player 1 (Red)

That's trigger 2. Trigger 3 looks like this:

Event - Generic unit event - A unit is attacked
Condition - Boolean condition - Player(Owner of Attacking unit) is an ally of Player(Owner of attacked unit) Equal to true
Action - Order (Attacking unit) to Stop

And that's all

Hm i have one problem :banghead:

If i go to choose trigger..i cannot see no one !!
I try it to other trigger that command but again i dont see no one trigger to select it

You have to create the trigger before you can turn it on. Then it will appear on the list.

No no,there isnt exist triggers !! I cant see no one in the list !! strange...
I have many triggers and i dont see no one ...

An empty "variable" list for "triggers" is, pretty much, impossible.
At the very least, there's the one you're currently working on.
