Help with form spell

Hi guys
I have one question about form spell.
So,we have a hero,and a spell that it form him to TREE like
Ninja VS Samurai map.

Well i tryied to make it with some edit of "Bear Form" spell.
I made model to TREE but when i doing it it appears a WHITE TREE ... it sucks,i want a normal green tree like all others in the map !!

Choose a better tree

The "destructible" trees won't work, since they have no skin on the model.

Under "Doodads", however...
Look for something like "Barrens Tree (indestructible) <Variation 1>"
(Or some other tileset)

I did it but if i do the spell and go back to normal form ,the hero starting from 1 lvl again :banghead: :banghead:

You can probably save the hero's level within a variable...However, I myself am not that good yet, so maybe Acehart will supply you with the right information

It might just be that "Bear Form" doesn't work on Heroes... dunno.

If all else fails, make a second Hero, with identical stats,
only with the "tree" model.
And base your ability on the Demon Hunter's "Metamorphosis".
That one works on Heroes for sure...

Actually, that's a really good idea...You can put the duration of Metamorphesis to 0, thus making it permenant, but then go to Gameplay Constants and make Metamorphesis deactivatable...And Bear Form CAN work on Heroes, but just not well...I had a hear that had the spell, in the guise of Wolf Form, but it was his Ult spell

and what is the next step to add the button for normal form ?

Oh .. i cannot change the model with metamorphosis spell ...

You probably forgot to include the same old ability on your tree unit.

Also, assuming you do (and you should) base off metamorphosis, don't forget to give him the same ability at least and set his attack to none if you don't want him throwing shurikens out of the tree (but that'd be cool).

And, "it doesn't work" really isn't any good a problem description...
