help with hero abilities

i can not get war stomp to work. even when i set all to default, it does not damage nor stun any other units.

i also cant get serpent wards to have an attack, when i summon, they have an attack dmg, but no attack function even though attack 1 is enabled.

also sometimes shockwave save must target a hero when i try on some units, but it works on other normal ground units, and its set to targets allowed ground hero etc, all of them

what do i do? help appreciated

also, no matter what i change the bash variables too, in game it is always 0%!

are you saying that under ANY circumstance these abilities do not work?? Even when you are playing melee maps or ladder maps? If that is the case, either your installation is corrupted or you have put some data files in your war3 folder that shouldn't be there.

oh sorry about the confusion. in a NORMAL or other custom game, they work fine, but in my map i just can not figure out why they dont work. i figured out the serpent wards, but the bash and war stomp still dont affect any other units even though it says targets allowed - (then i listed them) which is one of the type of units i am trying to target.

be aware that in many cases the targets allowed is hard coded. If it is not working on the targets you want it to, then assume its hardcoded.

so warstomp doesnt work on regular units like footmen? it has in other maps, so i dont know whats up with mine

there is definitely a piece of the puzzle missing here, something I don't know about. Under no circumstances that I know of have any abilities refused to work in one map but not another.
