help with race selection

heres my problem; i am making an rpg game, and i need to make a screen with a list of the people/races.

heres my question; i would like to know how to make that list show up just missing that final detail for my game.

If you are trying to make them show up before the game starts, it is impossible to add more races to that list.

Your best option is dialogue boxes. If you don't know how to use those, go to the tutorial site and read the Dialogue Box tutorial (at the top I think).

or like when someone types -races it shows a a thing going down screen thats in text.

there is a huge list of races, then when u click on the one u want, u start with a worker of that race
