Help With router

I need help with battle.net. I have a firewall and a Netgear router. I had the firewall before the router and it worked fine. The problem with the battle.net now with the router is that I cant create a game. There is a map I like and no one creates a game with it much. I can actually create a game but ive had freinds on b.net tell me its not responding or unable to join game. Is there anyway to configure the router or battle.net somehow so I can create games?

Since you are hosting the game you are actually acting like a server and servers on the private LAN can be made visible to the internet or Battle.net in this case.
I found some info on how you configure a RT311/RT314 router, but the procedure probably is the same for other routers as well. Look in the manual for additional information.

First you´ll need to route the TCP/IP packet to the proper machine.

On a system connected to the router use a Telnet client to access the internal configuration Manager at 192.168.0.1.
Login using your current router management password.
Select menu 15 - Port Set Configuration (by typing "15" and hit "Enter")
Configure the port number (6112) and the proper IP address (the private address where you want you traffic routed.)

Then you´ll need to disable the filter on port 6112.

Select Menu 21 - Filter Set Configuration.
Enter 3 to select Filter Set Number 3 (TEL_FTP_WEB_WAN) for editing.
Press ENTER three times to reach Menu 21.3 - Filter Rules Summary.
Three rules are shown:
Rule 1 for Telnet (Port 23), Rule 2 for FTP (Port 21), and Rule 3 for HTTP (Port 80)
Add Rule 4 for UDP (Port 6112) Note. this is a guess, it might be earlier but you´ll see it.
Press the Space Bar until Action Matched = Forward.
Press ENTER three more times to save the menu and exit to the previous menu.
Press ESC twice to return to the top menu, and type 99 to exit the Telnet session.
