help with super hard skill

I want to make like a shockwave with a chain efect instead of the shockwave... U know like lightning shockwave ...u see lightning rumbeling on the floor dealing damage but I don't know how

Create a new custom ability using shockwave as a template.

Chain the art efect from the shockwave one to "chain lightning-caster" that might be what you want I'm not sure.

Ill keep on tryin ...ok but how can I make a Blizzard thing but onstead of yhe rain thing make lightning fall...u know like almost real life...plz help ...thx

For a lightning blizzard, use the lightning shield model, or maybe the lightning bolt doodad model. An old, very old, version of Dota had a revenant hero with electric attacks (much like the current Razor) that had an electric blizzard for an ultimate. That's how they did it in that.

I think the reason the chain lightning effect isn't working for you is that that bolt of lightning wants to be an instant attack, and shockwave needs a missile. If you can take advantage of projectile scaling and use a smallish unit for the caster, you could use the farseer missile model, and scale it up by a factor of two to get something the right size for a shockwave.

There are probably other lightning-y missiles in the game. Just don't try to use chain lightning.

I think there is a ready-made ability for blizzard with lightning instead of ice, it is called Monsoon

Give it chain lightning's missile model (It is a model caled chain lightning - missile, but it won't be a lightning effect) If you want a lightning effect, use triggers
