Hero Into Unit (Or Unit Into Hero)

Make a hero look like a standard unit...and have the same abilities???

Pls help...!!!

i really don't understand what u mean but u have to go into unit editor and and at the top it will say abilities for that unit add in what u want and it will be the same but u will also have to change everything else so i recomend that u change the art of the hero into the art of the unit u want it to look like

i mean like how do u make an already existing hero into a unit...or a unit into a hero...(an existing one)...get what im saying?

i said before how to change an existing one into a newer one u have to change the art of the hero or change the abilities of the unit or do it the other way around

Allow me to enlighten.

You cannot 'turn' an hero into a unit, and
You cannot 'turn' a unit into a hero.

What you can do, is change the model file for the hero or unit, to look like the other. Also change sound set the same way.


You cannot assign a hero unit abilitites, and you cannot assign a unit hero abilities.

You can change abilities in the object editor to be for units or heros.

You can never completely turn a hero into a unit or vice versa, but you can give a hero unit abilities, you should know. (a sentinel hero also has the unit ability "Shadowmeld") To do this, add the abilities you wish to the "Abilities - Normal" field. It lies above in the unit properties.

To change the model, go to "Art - Model file" and "Art - Icon - Game interface".
To change the sound set, go to "Sound - Unit sound set".
