Hero Spell Book

In a RPG i'm making, a hero will have four custom spell books. One of the books is done and added to the hero's spell list. But while ingame, he cant learn it. I can open the learn spell menu, and select this ability, but it doesn't show up in his spell list, so he cant use it.

The only thing I can think is that the position buttons for your spellbooks collide.
Be sure you have every ability in a different position.
Have a look to it. I hope it will help you

Buttons position shouldent be a problem. If the are dublicated the ability search for a free spot.

Spell books are a little special. I can be possible that they dont work as hero abilities. It that is true test this.

1. Make your spell book a unit ability.
2. Make a hero ability as a dummy ability. Make it so it looks like the spell book.
3. Add the ability in step 2 to your hero.
4. This trigger:

    Events
        Unit - A unit Learns a skill
    Conditions
        (Learned Hero Skill) Equal to <Dummy Ability> 
        (Level of <Dummy Ability> for (Triggering unit)) Equal to 1
    Actions
        Unit - Remove <Dummy Ability>  from (Triggering unit)
        Unit - Add <Spell Book>  to (Triggering unit)
