After some thousand years some sadomasochist purple dude decided to stab his eyes out. He put on a blindfold so that he wouldn't die of blood loss. However, he kept bleeding which caused the blindfold to glow yellow (and somehow that made him able to see). Eventually he took his shirt off and started to wear a dress. He somehow got the ability to suck green stuff out of people, spontaneously combust, trip (and therefore dodge enemy attacks), and turn into a giant winged demon (even though he hunted demons). He also figured out how to use counterflames before anyone else and became the first fireman ("I shall fight fire... with fire.")
