Holy Aura

I made a new hero; a High Priest. I also made new skills for him, like "Holy Aura". I want a new art for the Holy Aura be the same as the art of the target for the Ancestral Spirit spell. However, the art only appeares one time.

How can I make the graphics appear repeatedly?

Well assuming you went and changed the art for the holy light ability, the graphic will only repeat if the graphic for the original spell repeats. How often do you want it to repeat anyway? forever?

Yes, forever. And, unfortunatly, I didn't find another matching art. I realise that I have to use triggers, but how?

well first you need to test to see if the sfx runs only once or whether it loops. If you find it loops then that is great, all you have to do is detect the event 'unit begins casting an ability', and just attach the sfx to the unit.

If not, then have the unit begins casting an ability event run the periodic trigger (trigger - run trigger). Just remember if you do a periodic event you MUST destroy the sfx after creating it i.e.

destroy (last created special effect)

don't worry, it won't be destroyed straight away, it only happens when the sfx animation has finished playing. And you have to destroy it because over a long period of time your game will slow down to a crawl because of memory leaks.
