alright... i set the resolution on my desktop too high... the screen is black with a sign in the middle that says:

Attention
Out the range
H:74.8 KHz V59.9Hz:

my screen is black... i cant do anything...
 
i got my computer started up in black.... Lol... im shooting in the darkness and trying like hell to lower the resolution...
 
Start the computer up in Safe Mode. Uninstall your video card. Restart your computer and reinstall the card then update your drivers.

Also, you might want to try turning off your computer, remove your case, pull out your video card, then put it back in and try again. It just works like that sometimes.
 
If you're using Windows XP, just restart the machine and press F8 to bring up the start menu screen that will give you a list of options. Pick "VGA mode" and then in Windows set the display resolution you need and reboot.

dont know if u can help me but im having the same problem when i run counter strike...
 
i wanted the graphic very good so i changed the resolution to a extreem high level
 
hmm I didn't realise that cards these days allowed you to still change to resolutions the monitor couldn't handle....guess they do......pretty dodgy thinking by the driver manufacturer IMO

did you reinstall the game?

    I have two salmon, Sockeye and Atlantic. Atlantic is used for the kids salmon and the salmon and beet salad, and can also be added onto any dish or just as a side. Atlantic salmon will almost exclusively ever be FARMED, as it is endangered in the wild, and we ALWAYS cut them to 4 ounces.

    SOCKEYE salmon, very different and this IS wild caught. We have an ENTREE version, and an add on version. The entree is 7 ounces, the add on is 4. Why? Because that is how someone that wasn't me set up the computer.
