hosting problems

ok I searched and came up with no luck.

here is my setup:
Win xp, 2.2 ghz p4, vertigo geforce 4 - 64mb video card, 604mb ram, and I connect thru a router to a cable modem, no isp is loaded on my comp

here is my problem:

I can get on wc3 fine. I have no problem playing/losing in any of the wc3 games.

However when I go to host, it will create a game, and everyone can see it but no one can join it. Now I know ICF is usually the problem. But I checked and it is disabled. I do have the new 2004 Norton AV, but again, I turned it off and tried to host and it still wouldnt let anyone join.

Any thoughts????

open/forward port 6112 (the port b.net uses when hosting games) to your internal ip address (ie your network address).

and I would be able to do that how?

I got my Ip but in wc3, It says something like a # from 1024 to 49151

my ip has periods and is way longer. How do I forward this port as you mentioned????
