How Can I Set More Than 5 Levelable Spells In Single Hero?

I know that in the default WC3 World Editor a hero can have up to 5 spells/abilities for lvling. But I think it might be funnier if there are multiple choices to spare skill points, as what in Diablo2.
So, I hope someone to provide a certain method to increase the amout of such spells/abilities at least 6 to 7.

By the way, I also wanna ask a lesser question: How can I Hide Passive Spells/Abilities in the 12-grid command panal, such as some Aurae, Evade, Reincarnation, Attribute Modification, Thorny Shield, True Sight, Hardened/Resistant Skins, etc. , but units still maintain the above spells/abilities as well? The grids are not that sufficient sometimes.:D

I doubt it, but there might be a way to artifically add extra skills, though you'd have to sacrifice move commands like move, stop, hold position and patrol (for GUI space).

There is a trigger: Hero - Learn Skill, which will be useful.. you might have to add an extra item or button for 'skills 2', that works in the same way as the skills menu. I'm quite sure you can add extra GUI buttons and give new buttons events when clicked, but i'm still not sure if what you want is possible. :(

Edit: You can subtract skills with triggers too, would also be useful.

well currently the hero spell limit is hardcoded to 5. Your only alternative is to hunt for the ability called "spellbook". You will find this a very powerful and useful ability, its very cool too.

spellbook = very powerful and cool ability, look it up !

re: passive skills question

if you set the icon button positions to something off the grid, I believe your passive skills will still work.

so set the x to > 3 and/or the y to > 2.

has someone corfirmed that??? that would be incredible usefull for my map :o

If its true - yet another magnificent and magic application of Shift+Enter

You can give stuff up to 7 spells..

Theres 12 icons spots. Top row has Move, Attack, Defend, Stop Moving and Patrol.

12-5 = 7

Bottom row is empty (4 spells) and the middle row has Patrol, two open slots and the hero ability learn.

You can trigger a 6th and final ability to be learnt through trigger, since once you have learnt all your spells, the Hero Skill Learn button is removed, give you a 7th slots. :D

yea... but that means there are no "invicible" spaces below the visible ones, for pasive abilities? Even if they are not hero ones ?

Add a Spellbook with a Passive ability, then disable it at map initialization. The passive ability will still there.

Add a skill Called Spellbook which allows you to enter the button and you should have 9 more slots, when learning the skill put it into the normal skill learning like "learn Fire Spells Lvl 1- Firebolt" and so on. to learn how to make it when you enter the button ask defi4nc3 about how he did it in his ORPG.

I seem to remember this crashing the game.
