How do I use Players 9, 10, 11, and 12?

Hi, I read on tutorials about Starcraft having 12 main players, instead of only 8. I'm assuming that players 9 through 12 can't be used by human players, but can probably be used as extra computer or neutral players in a map, thus leaving more open slots for human players.

So, how do I use these extra players? Plz leave your preferred method, then a Mac alternative if available.

Also, I heard that using other extra players, can speed up the game, or even cloak units! I'm only interested in the cloaking units thing, so I'm asking for details on that, too. Can this extra player be used to cloak units owned by human players?

Assume I know nothing about these topics; provide a noob's guide.

thnx

Also, I was wondering what unused buildings are, exactly. And what's an Independant starport? I'm talking about the buildings from Xtra Editor that look like scouts.

To use players 9-12 you can put units for them into your map with starforge or SCMdraft. I recomend just using player 12. btw, you cant do enough things with these players to completely make up for not using a standard spot as computers. You CAN download triggers for player 12 but keep in mind some actions dont work. The p12 triggers and starforge and scmdraft are downloadable on this page:

As for speeding up the game, heres a tutorial:
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?tutorial=1

Im not sure which units to place for cloaking, but I think there is stuff for it. I wouldn't go into it though because, like changing game speed, it's probably uncontrollable and works by placing a unit before placing other units and you probbaly cant toggle it. Although, a few units can be cloaked unit triggers, but thats also a messy thing that only works on some units and can result in game crashes if you arent careful.

also, unused stuff is just things that were never finished and put into starcraft. The cargo ship and merc gunship are just normal units but they dont display hp, have no attack, and cant move. Independant starport is a unit with a glitched weapon system that doesnt do anything, and independant starport always takes .5 damage from any attacker. as in, to lose 1 hp, you need to hit it twice. The vespene gas containers are also like that. The .5 damage phenomenon also happens when a unit attacks a unit whos armour is higher then the attacker's damage.

Player 12 is the spot that gets units when you leave the game, the units that show up blue on the minimap. It is just a neutral player, although, like i said, you cant do a lot with it, like you cant create units for it.

P12 also has critters and resources i think..

unused stuff usually crashes SC.

players 9 - 11 are used pretty rarely. im pretty sure player 9 is the hostile player. player 9 will attack you. also your guys will all attack players 9-11. You can set players 9-11 with starforge or scmdraft. there are VERY few triggers that work players 9-11.

Player 12 is the nuetral player. When people leave your game, they are given to player 12. You can set triggers to give your units it you if someone leaves the game, but very few other triggers work with player 12. Then also your units will not attack player 12 buildings directly.
