How to change heros animation!!!!AHHHH

I am trying to get my model yoshi

to change animation. I want him to morph iinto an egg the same way Illidain metamophs into demon. I also need to know how to do this for ALOT of the custom heros i am using in my RPG. Beasue when they attack, they just sit there, when i give thema move, they just stand still. Please man, can someone help me out?

if the model does not have the morphing into an egg animation, then you can't do it short of editing the 3d model itself.

But it does have morphing into an egg as an animation!

k, did you try giving them the ability "phoenix morphing (egg related)" ?

edit: oh wait that won't work, what about giving them the ability metamorphosis, and changing the alternate form unit to a phoenix egg ?

So, i cant llike say "When the unit does this ability, it will play this animation"? Is it just preset or somehting?

you could possibly do that, but if you can use an existing spell its much more cleaner and more efficient.

event:
unit begins casting an ability [generic event]

condition:
ability equal to (something) [ability comparison]

action:
play (some unit's) (whatever animation) [play unit animation]
