How to: Hide Entered Chat Messages

Hiding text in the Chat Log is kinda useless, I mean, just don't open it. If you don't want people to be able to figure out who's saying what, just change everyone's name to <Empty String> or a space... OR If they're smart enough, just change to obs...

I cant find the Chat section inside the game interface widnwo. I am using New Gen. Is this the problem?
