How to make a hero

Hey im trying to make a map thats basically going to be a mutated sheep tag. This will be my first attempt at making a map. Will this be a good place to start? And if it is or if it isnt my question is how do i go about giving things abilites and attack and everything.
Foreinstance the sheep making them small or fast or perm invisible. I hope u can help,

To make a hero, go into your Object Editor (its in the upper right, menu next to help) and create a new custom object. It will make you choose a base (which is some object in the game.)

Then you can modify all the things about it to make it whatever you need
