How to make a unit transparent for the enemies..not allies?

I saw this in dota.....mortred used to have transperency control via Animation functions...but now i dont know how they did it...she is transparent for only the enemies?
How to do that?
(My nearest guess would be something related to camera filter...:confused:)

i would say pick players 7-12 and do actions:
animation transparency thing

but then again icefrog uses jass if not vjass so itd be hard to tell the exact wai he does it

He probably meant IsUnitAlly() as the function.So:

im pretty sure you need parenthisis in the if
if ( IsUnitAlly( udg_u, GetLocalPlayer( ) ))

Man its so obvious!!! U add the invisibility skill to this unit and order to active it, and its done! forget about scripts and whatever. This is with the units already being placed in the map. if u want otherwise ask me.

I dont know whats the point of this skill. If even the unit being transparent u still can see it. Anyway its simple just use :
After u make the unit use invibility.
unit group - pick unit in(units in playable map area) matching ((picked unit)all allies of player1(red) equal to true
and do (animation - change("ur unit") vertex coloring to( 100%,100%,100% )and 100% transparency
oh again obviously that would make the unit invisible for ur allies only u wanted the contrary, use unit - remove buffs, remove invisibility.
not sure if remove buff would work need to test.

That wouldn't work at all... It needs Jass or at least Custom Script.

Yeah, and use a detection trigger that detects whenever a player has their camera over the hero, then if it's an ally stay, if it's an enemy remove the buff. But if you have one player with her onscreen already use a screen scroll stopper that stops players from moving their cameras to see her...

Sry i am late at replying my router got screwed up and is pretty unstable...and i am getting speeds like <1 kbps and getting Dc frequently.

Btw is this supposed to make the unit transperent for enemies and at the same time the unit will appear normal to the allies?
Cuz testing that would require 2 players atleast.

The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left.
