how to put custom units in the map

Wow, that question was poorly written...(No offense, just making a statement)

I can't really answer your question because I'm not 100% sure what you mean. Please retype the question clearly.

of course

select the unit menu
and then you will see a dialog "melee"
click on it and turn it into custom
(just do it....)
now change the race (its a dialog button near the 'melee')
you need to find the race where your unit is in.
if you find him just select him and put him into the map

All you have to do is right click on this custom unit and click on "Select in Tool Palette" and then you can place him. Remember, double-clicking will let you choose if you want him to sprout an item after death (no triggers required), change his affiliation/color, or change the direction he's facing in.

I don't know what shimon said, but it sounded quite complex for a simple thing (sorry, I don't want to sound rude...I'm trying to be frank).

Also, you can just push U for unit palette and select custom.

as for alexnder im not sure how everything works,ex:how do i make triggers?wat do i do with camera props?how do i change units to do different things?and how do i make abilities do new things?

Abilties is the second command on the list, attack damage is "Combat - Attack (1/2) - Damage Base", health is "Stats - HP Maximum", mana is "Stats - MP Maximium". For more info there is a tutorial on this at the site above.

The Unit Editor is documented on the tutorial website, which you were told to read. Stop posting every 2 minutes and go and read it.
