How to remove sight range

many people know that there exists a specific item that grands you extra sight range and now the question is :How to remove sight range?

You might have it based on the same ability but with a negative value?

For example, -1600 sight range (haven't tested it though )

I have tested it, and it works

for me it just doesn't work!
what should I do?

add the ability Sight range bonus. Then in the Sight range bonus ability hold shift and double click the field Sight range bonus and give it a -1800 value
