okay i know i'm a big n00b but i don't get it !

i want to put a bridge into my map, over a river ... thought this should be very easy but now my units step on he bridge and it seems like they 'climb' 1 level up ! so they 'jump' up when they step on the bridge ... looks lame !

how can i fix this ?!

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
