I need to utilize an item recipe system...

Before you jump the gun and straight-away redirect me, I'd just like it to be known:

I have been tinkering with getting a multitude of them added, and I'm more looking for opinions rather than straight-up systems.

I've tried Artificial's system and several others, but after optimization, those systems have unfortunately not worked out for me

I do not need bells and whistles (ie. something to disassemble recipes), just something simple. I've got more than enough experience with GUI to implement that.
