I still have the problem with the PLAY DISC

I installed the game on full and used the patch and it still says install the CD. why does it say that, it's already on the comp. Blizzard doesn't help, what's the problem?

It could just be the cd. If you got it at EB just take it back to them and they'll give you a new one. Pretty much any store should if you make a big enough stink about it. Tell them to open it right there if they're worried about you trying to scam them.

what could be wrong with the CD. could it be messed up files. if so, could there be downloads that could help me. i just want to play single player, i don't want to play multi. are there maybe single player loaders anywhere?

No idea it was just a guess. But if you've been spending a ton of time trying to get it to work it might be worth a shot to try a new cd.

try the CD on another computer

if it works there, the problem is with your CD ROM drive, which is far more likely than it being a problem with the individual CD

this is a very common problem and its not something that can necessarily be fixed by you

There are some 'no CD cracks' out there which you can use at your own risk and you will have to find for yourself, that might work. You won't be able to play on battle.net with them though
