and i am assuming that you guys are using the iconborderpack

what layers are used in conjunction with eachother for each type of icon?
the layers i have are

attack type w/ upgrade -
attack type -
disbtn -
autocast -
pasbtn -
btn -
normal border -
passive border -

to clarify my question
if i am making a passive icon do i need to use the "pasbtn" and "passive border" layers?
if i am making an autocast icon do i use "btn" or "pasbtn" and which border?
etc

which of these looks like it was done correctly?

1st has btn
2nd has btn, normal border
3rd has btn, passive border
4th has btn, normal border, passive border

I made a second version but it is a bit messy, if you have time could you fix it? Thanks in advanced. It's up to you though, if you don't have time or don't want to fix it please don't

Description:
i need like..14 ish icons.
i have 3 types of tomes, and 5 different kinds for each one. so theres 15 tomes.
Agi+2 Str+2 Int+2
Agi+5 Str+5 Int+5
Agi+11 Str+11 Int+11
Agi+24 Str+24 Int+24
Agi+65 Str+65 Int+65

and they all have that plain blue tome icon
so, i want green tomes for agi, red tomes for str, and blue for int (so, wont need colour editing)
but i want each kind of tome for the tome type to progressively look better and like more powerful, so like add whatever to it to make it look better; writing, aura, idc be creative

example: for int tomes theyd all be the regular blue. youd leave the +2 tome normal. for the +5 there could be a small aura or something around it. for the +11 there could be a better aura and so on.
and that would apply to all 3 types of tomes, just different colours

Well those some of those layers are used together.

Here's which layers I would use to create icons:
Active(BTN) - <BTN> <Normal Border>
Disabled(DISBTN) - <DISBTN>
Passive(PAS) - <Passive Border>
Autocast(BTN) - <Autocast> <Passive Border>
Attack Type w/ upgrade - <Attack Type w/ upgrade>
Attack Type - <Attack Type>

Not 100% on these, but that's what I would use.

* Images: I think most people no wat a beer gut looks like? google it if u must.

i wish i could make stuff from scratch like you guys do so far all ive done is make recolors and change icon types

these are ones i made for my map so far
and as you can tell they are all minor edits of existing icons
