i really feel stupid to ask it but how do i link two ground with different heights?
for exemple: shallow water and surfece
please answer

and please tell me where i make custom heroes

for shallow water and surface...use the ramp tool.....and that works for almost everything

you know, most of this is written down in tutorials. if you feel you have very simple questions to ask, simply find a tutorial that answers it. theres a lot of tutorials on this site, and others as well. please dont bother with these simple questions, tutorials are for answering simple questions that almost everybody asks.

There's a tutorial for ramps? Well if there is, I guess I won't have to make one.

Seriously, I think someone should write one. There are some tricks to know about ramps

For instance:

1) It's easiest to make the ramps go at 90 degree angles. For instance, if you want to link shallow water and ground, you want to make the ground flat out to the south, north, east, or west, but not angled out so it's facing southwest or something. Get what I mean? Ramps connect easily that way.

2) Ramps require a little space between elevation changes to work, so take a note of this if you're descending off of a mountain. Usually about 3-4 squares of a 1-level down elevation from the higher elevation will work for the ramp.

3) Ramps CAN go diagonally as opposed to horizontal, but they're a bit hesitant. What you want to do is make a ramp on a 90 degree surface and then drag it across to an angled area. The ramp will get all funky looking but if you keep dragging it and eventually back onto another 90 degree surface, you'll get a perfect large ramp that dips diagonally into the water or whatever.

4) If you just can't get rid of weird seams, fill it up with doodads...preferably ones with pathing textures, since ones without em can be traversed and a seam might mess up your hero's movement over that area.
