Please note this is NOT a sound editing issue. The .wav file I am using is amplified to its maximum without experiencing digital clipping in SoundForge.
I have imported a new sound for the "Steam Tank" for it to use when it is moving. When I used the "Replace Internal Sound" function in WE everything went well, and it does play...however, it is too quiet in game and even in the editor.
Now this is a little strange...
When you replace an internal sound, the file also shows up under Imported Sounds in teh Sound Editor. So you can hear your sound file in 2 places, under imported sounds AND by listening to the internal sound you just replaced.
When I do that for ANY sound it sounds nice and loud under the imported sound but quite quieter under the internal sound I have replaced.
Any ideas?
