Importing models and skins

i need despete help, i downloaded an archdevil from wc3campaigns dl section i import it and use the mdx file for it but wen i put it in game all that shows up is a green checkkered box

Again, you did the MDX fine, but every model file comes with a skin, which needs to be in a proper path. I have grabbed models from the same site as you, and there it should tell you what the skin path needs to be.

They will show in the game, but not in the editor. To make them show in the editor, please see that link I posted.

The model can be imported wherever you like, but the skin path needs to be correct.

If nothing else, I have opened models with notepad. It looks like garbage, but you can see the skin path clearly.

help needed

first sorry for the double post, but

i imported the silver and white furion skin from wc3 warehouseand i made the path: Units\nightelf\Furion\furion.blp wen i save and close map then open it it says could not load file:Units\nightelf\furion\furion.mlp

yes mlp not blp on the could not load screen

1. Check your path. Its case sensitive, like Nightelf, Furion.
2. Under normal circumstances the skin & model won't show in the editor, but will in the game.

MLP? Looks like they made a typo in the model. So change the custom path of the import to say .mlp too. You do not have to rename the original file.
