In search of a good wave system/ timer that works

I am making a td and my wave system isn't bad, but I would like a really solid and clean wave build if anyone has one. I want it so that after wave 1 is killed, the next wave is spawned like 10 seconds later. Also, I am having trouble with timers. I can create the window but the time remaining doesn't appear. Any help would be great thanks.

i make several test
and discover this
make global timer variable (need to be global i dont know , whit local dont work)
after that use
start timer whit argument your global timer and your own duration
and after that create timer window whit your global timer
and work
