well
do not be suprised
i am building a level that will probably need more 6000 trees/destructibles
listen to my theory
using an action destractible-create i might bypass this stupid thing
well that was a good idea till one think did not poop up on mi mind
it will be very difficult to make so much actions
many regions
very complex
argh my head is going to explode
btw how to increase map size far more then 256*256
to some 768*768
will be nice
so anyone

Believe me, the maximum size that the world editor gives you should probably be big enough. It takes several minutes for a unit, using normal speed, to walk all the way across the 256x256 map. I don't think there is a way to make it any bigger. If there was, the map would become waaaaaay to large to host, or download. For the destructibles, yes, I think you could theoretically bypass the preplaced limit by using triggers; however, you'd rapidly lag down your map, since massive numbers of triggers kinda take up a lot of room, and massive numbers of trees all being made at once aren't much kinder on the computer.
One other general warning: don't make too many trees, or too large a map; things get laggy fast, and there is a maximum size that battle.net will host for you. Cliffs>trees in most respects. Good luck with this, it sounds like a fun project!

damn
i ut thought that my prole was solved
but there must be something
the truth is outhere somewhere :D
still triger editor is my only choice
so admins please shut down this thread if noone doesn't know anything about this crap
thanks anyway
most of my projects are epic maps
trees are dangerously close to the limmit
well my recent project was campgain
campaign big thing u think
but the original idea was to create a multyplayer campaign
firs i thouht tooooooooooooooooo complex
now first map is finished
it is just fun
no @$@%@%@% puzzles
just clean action but on serbian
the map vaiges about 1.5 map
but i thought to put my voices
i even assembled the team for the voices
but it will be only playable on the lan
couse the 100 mb/s and no blizzard
no internet couse the lag will be too large and blizzard won't host it couse of its 10 mb gigantic size
seem fun to u
well if u understand serbian language and our culture and movies
u could understand this campaign

Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

oh wow, i bet i can post x links now and do the webp pics now giggity

We are now on Ubuntu 24.04. Had some issues with the style after the OS/PHP upgrade but now resolved.

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.
  • The Helper The Helper:
400 users all online all looking at latest content
  • The Helper The Helper:
I wonder how all these bots that sit on the lastest content page get passed anubis or maybe they did not but they are just registering on whos online
  • The Helper The Helper:
showing up on whos online not registration
  • Ghan Ghan:
The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.
  • Ghan Ghan:
That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I remember the whole javascript thing, question - how many real people disable that?
  • The Helper The Helper:
Hell I guess I could go back on the stats to know that - we probably capture that and we know the before and after
  • Ghan Ghan:
Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
  • Ghan Ghan:
The internet is broken without it.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Bot readable, not human usable.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    got it
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Happy Thursday!
