I got Adobe Flash CS3 not too long ago and I wanted to download it today on my desktop. So i put in the disk... and i wait... and wait... nothing loads up. I go to my computer and it says there is no disk in the drive. I looked through the requirements and the only one that I stumbled on was "DVD-ROM drive". I was pretty sure my desktop had one. So I investigated this and tried putting in a movie. It didn't load up either. So would this be my problem? Not having a DVD ROM drive? If it is, is there a way to somehow bypass this... or install it differently. The disk is fine cause when I put it in my laptop it works fine. Please get back to me asap. Thanks TH.

Otherwise you'll have to buy a DVD drive. Surprises me you don't hvae one, its been a standard for what, like 6 or 7 years? Anyway, a proper DVD drive + burner in one costs about $20 to max $40 so it isn't a major investition anyway.
