InstallShield Wizard Setup Error

I recently bought Illustrator CS for my XP computer. However, when I try to install I get the following message:

Setup has experience an error.
Please do the following:
-Close any running programs.
-Empty your temporary folder.
-Check your Internet Connection (Internet-based setups)

Then try to run the setup again

Error code -6002

I don't even know what the internet connection could have to do with it.
I tried to install it on a different XP machine and had no problems. Apparently I have a conflict somewhere.
Can anyone help?

Try disabling your virus scanner before installation.

Thanks, but I already tried that. Should have said it before. Sorry. Any other ideas?

Try copying the installation files to your hard drive and locating any truncated files (typically contain a ~). In particular, if there is a file with extension .boo~, rename it to have extension .boot. Then try the setup again.

Another thing, I just had this problem and it turned out the cd was dirty. After I cleaned the CD, the install worked.
