They certainly do not!

Take a violin for example. Synthesized violins sound nothing like real ones.

Good ones do... but I agree a lot if of poorer quality. But also computer programs have a lot mre sounds then a violin.. so I think its sorta balanced.

I personally like tubular bells and grundge/bass guitars. Maybe even mixed for grundge bells.
