IPX troubles

I cannot seem to play IPX games.. my network uses 2 Linksys Network Anywhere NC100v2 adapters and an IPAQ hub, ICS seems to work fine. I tried removing all occurences of any networking things in the networking setup menu of both computers, but no help there. One computer runs windows 95, and the faster one with the internet has win98. Please help, and thanks in advance.

Stupid question, but did you install the Microsoft IPX/SPX protocol for your network cards?

Yes, I have IPX/SPX installed on both computers, and tcpip is setup using ics for my second computer on the network.

Are you talking about specific games or any game that uses IPX?

If you are using Starcraft with the latest patch, then you should use the new UDP multiplayer option. It works through TCP/IP and its easier

Well, you might want to try changing the Frame Type under the IPX/SPX settings to something other than Auto. Like make both machines Ethernet 802.2 or make both 802.3. If that fails, you might want to invest in a null modem cable and hook up the pc's via that to play the older games with.
