Actually, most mods/admins are against you. Seriously though, they are.

However, many are willing to give it a try. So it's still up in the air.

Woot!! I've always loved IRC. I hope more mods pull for my idea.

1) It's just a chatroom, dude. Chill.
2) If someone were to "diss" it, what exactly would you do? -Rep him/her? If it's unreasonable rep, you'll just get it reversed back onto you, ya know... If it's a flame, you should let an Admin/mod know, so WE can fix it the RIGHT way.

I probably would have -repped him, but I didn't handle it this time The way you act in a chat and the way you act on the forums are different. Chats are more exclusive, private. Forums are public and as thus, you deal with people with more respect because other people can see you being sarcastic and take it the wrong way.

Hopefully this will be a lesson to everyone: When you're on this forum, respect the staff. Even if you're cool with them, show them respect.

it looks nice but i don't think it has a point but we could use it for a chat between 2 users sometimes u just wanna speak directly in the forum and i think it would be great if u would add an option for user to invite some1 to chat but making a public chat seems like a bad idea and unefficient for this forum.
