Is It possible put command aura, trueshot aura, endurance aura, thorn aura, vamp aura, devotion aura, unholy aura and brillance aura; into one aura?

You could put them all into one spellbook maybe? And just adjust the levels of the auras inside as the level of the spellbook ability increases.

create a dummy aura spell that does nothing only the effects on hero
create a dummy unit which has all this auras has no model file and loctus ability

create a dummy unit near your hero when your hero learns the dummy ability. And assign the unit to a global variable and make unit move to position of hero each bla bla seconds in another tirgger

Spell Book is probably the best method as you can only give a unit 5 abilities.

Also, yes a 'Spellbook' is an ability where you can add more abilities inside of it and open it up to see what is inside.

I was meaning to make the spell with triggers at this point you need to learn much more. Go ahead with Spell Book

You can find this ability in object editor at abilities tab it is an item ability just make it hero ability and modify its attriubes.

You have some 20+ posts.
You're starting to see how you can put trees from a different tileset into your map.
Then along comes someone that suggests "create a dummy unit"...
to which you reply "I don't understand".

And that's a problem?!

Aren't we all simply trying our best here?
To keep a nice and helpful place here?

Ah well...







Open the "abilities" tab of the "Object Editor",
Menu: Edit / Find,
Enter "Spell Book".
Once you found it, right-click, new custom ability.

Then there's the list of spells (Entangling Roots and some others),
put yours there.
Then set the "minimum" and "maximum" to the number of spells you put inside.

Give that new ability to your Hero.


As for levelling that up, that's a different story...

AceHart, I was fairly sure if you made the spellbook a hero ability you could give it multiple levels (with differnent spell lists) and it would show up in the 'learn abilities' tab on the hero pane. However, I may be mistaken...

There is "Spell Book", the Item (under "Items")
and there is "Spell Book", the Ability (under "Abilities").

You want to edit the ability, not the item.
Once you found the ability, you'll see the list of spells that already are inside...

Well, I've never tried it, and I don't remember a post clearly stating anything either way.
So... who knows?

It sounds like it could work though.
Then again... you'll probably have to use some other ability for leveling,
and do the Spell Book upgrade by hand...


On the other hand, using it on a tower probably means that there is only one level...

Yes.

this time u will make it not a hero ability
you will see that

Stats - Hero Ability: False
Stast - Item Abiliy : True

Make Stast - Item Abiliy False then it becomes a unit ability
Then create custom abilies from all auras make them only 1 level and make them Unit Ability with same way then go to spell book ability again,
Make
maximum spells
and
minimum spells
with same number as your auras then find
Data Spell List
and deleate all spells in it and give your custom auras

and give the spell book ability to tower thats it.

Edit: And i have tried it as a hero ability and it works really fine
