Is there a way to engage an ability with another ability?

I want to have Metamorphosis go off when I cast Cluster Rockets. Is there any way to do this?

i dont know that is the exact way but its able to be done im almost sure

For custom abilitys you have to call them by their base string AKA whatever you based the ability on. Theres a tutorial in the tutorial repostoriy i think its the AI tutorial that covers this.

i think it would be easier to make metamorphosis that shoots rockets than cluster rockets that changes your unit

You'll have to giva the unit/hero a custom Metamorphosts, and then use the trigger action "Issue order with no target" with "Night Elf Demon Hunter - Metamorphosis" as param.

Ok to do that heres how I think: crate 2 units one that looks exatcly like each other and give him metamorph give him locust to then do this

Unit Starts effect of ability:

Ability being cast = cluster rockets
Wait 1.50 Seconds
Replace triggering unit with whatever
order last replaced unit to cast metamorph
remove ability metamorph from last replaced unit
remove ability locust from last replaced unit

Then make sure both units are exactly the same so stats models damage and stuff come out the same I hope this helps

Not really, no, assuming the unit already has Metamorphosis.
