Im making a hero arena, and would it be a good idea to buy the heros skills instead the hero just having them?

You would just have to have some way of making sure that no one person could get all the best spells. Other than that, it sounds pretty cool.

Id use a balancing technique or everyone is going to have critical strike evasion drunken brawler and windwalk.

I would say that depending on what you take, say evasion, you couldnt take critical strike.

Yes, quite good, but do it the way Hero Builder map's do it. Pick an Ability then another ability from another choice of ability's, so on so forth.

Well, make it so that not every1 can get stormbolt, it will get abused if u dont, but yea sounds nice

i would suggest not doing that because there's one out like that already.... i recomend making loads of heros that start out with their skills to keep it balanced.

Well what I was going to do was make it to have like different merchants...for say..

Cold Skill Trainer
Basic Melee Trainer
Fire Skill Trainer
Critical Trainer
Evasion Trainer



and yes I would make some bounderies to how to could create them

hero building arenas usually have different groups of spells that you can pick from, once picked from you go onto the next group and pick one and so on and so on... the idea is that you can ballance all the spells in each group ie: dd spells in one group aoe type spells in the next group and passive skills in the next, that way one hero doesn't get all the best dd's, he can only have one!!!

that would be a good idea for your game
