item names and effects

my map is almost complete. I have all the abilities done with. Now i need items... lots and lots of items.

For the names i was thinking maybe making one for all of you guys. Darg's Legendary Armor... Ryoko's Marvelous boots of speed... other peoples names... mind... satara.... darky... etc. etc. etc.

Effects i don't know. I am not good with items. I always like making the powerful ones but the crappy items are just boring. Like potions and tomes. But i guess every good map has to have them. But if you guys have any ideas please give me them.

I am almost finished. I have never finished a map. I always came up with a better idea than the map i was creating so i started over. But this one i think has potential...

What kind of map are you making?

Its kinda hard to make items to a map without knowing how the map is working...

it is a king of the mountain type map where you have this unit called a "pusher" and you try to be the first to kill the king (who is another player). The first person to be the king for 5 minutes wins.

lol alright. These items im going to make really rare. My map the people don't have much damage or hit points so the most damage increase would have to be like 10 or something.

I got this great idea. Once you got all the relics of the person like kingofdeth's armor, helm, ashes... so on. Then you imbue it at the imbue master and he gives sacred stone of Kingofdeth. When you click on it the camera changes to the top of the mountain. a couple of lightning bolts and other special effects happen. Then you get kingofdeth for a short while. so the sacred stone would be like sommoner type item with a cooldown. OMG this is going to be awsome. I can't wait until i get this to work.

Another idea. I have this bounty hunter type guy and he will have these quests for you.

quest one-- to kill a random player's pusher. Then you get an artifact. Like kingofdeth's urn. The other two items you would have to be very very lucky and get them by a random chance of 1 and a 1000.

hey put me in.... uve helped me a lot of gotten to know u.... hmmmm i know how to make the names.... go to the object editor and switch the tab to items..... then u pick the item and change the name in text- name and evrything... also u can make custom items.... are u asking like how to have items in a heros inventory when u create them.... or in any units inventory?

i know all that info. I just need ideas on custom items like items with aura's and what ever. I think im going to make set items when you get all three you get a power ful item that allows you to summon the person that the three were originally named after.
