I'm starting to post stuff again! :D
---
In this cell of my own imprisoned soul within a body of a human, I wander.
This infinite space of abstract matter fills my hunger of wanderlust.
But I have not traveled far tonight, dear.
The roads of my mind are filled with bandits, and I have been wounded many times.
The bloodshed has made curiosity sour and I tend to work more now a days.
I suppose I've learned to respect my boundaries,
But even though I rest, I regularly desire to wander like the nights I did before.
Though I may be jailed, I am like a turtle ever moving on.
This world will never hold me.
My soul is forever free within the imagination of day dreams.

Yet beyond freedom is a new delight.
Death - I await thee.
Your grasp has never been so close than they are for me.
I play with your palm, finger, and thumb.
And slowly you close upon me as I foolishly follow along.
Light is my master, and it shows me before the deed is done.
There's still people to live for.
Things to show.

I like the formatting of this too. The longer sentences with smaller ones breaking it up to tapering off at the end.

What you're actually saying is very interesting. The first two lines are fascinating and they draw you farther into the poem to the second stanza that captures you to the end.

Hey thanks for the kind words on all my threads. It's nice to know there are still people out there who are enthusiastic about all poetry. :)
