Jass related questions

I have decided to learn Jass and thus I have some questions:

What is data? Does it work like a game cache or hashtables?

What are Handles?

What are Structs?

What is a Method?


I might mention that I have neither vJass nor the NewGenEditor since it won't work properly for me. I've also read Vexorians and Rheias tutorials on Jass so i understand the Jass basics.

imagine a giant array... struct is like that... is the better and probably the most safe way to create mui jass

edit: ps: if you don't use vjass or newgen, then forget structs and methods

There's a few JASS tutorials out there and some in Hivesworkshop which talks about Handles. Not sure about the others since I dont use JASS
And perhaps this would be answered quickly and elaborated on if it was in the JASS section.

Thanks, I guess i have to try installing vJass after all. It's a bit stupid but I nearly think vJass is cheating.

I still wonder what data is though.
