I want a trigger that will add 10 gold and lumber every 2 seconds when you type "Extra Gold" but i can't find a way to do this. Can someone help me?

Eh, set a variable in that trigger instead of adding gold. Set that variable to True when extra gold is typed. Now, in trigger two, have a trigger executing every two seconds for the action, with a condition of that variable being true. Add the gold inside that second trigger.

I'll post a trigger up shortly.

That should work. Try it out. Also allows you to turn it off.

Just make a new trig that is turned on by that trig and the new trig stating:

Events: Every 1 secs of game
Conds: None
Actions: (your actions)

And have that trigger (the one where player 1 types extra gold) turn on the new trig.
