I think I can figure out the programming errors if I can just get the map to start (bugs and all), but I cant even get it to load up. What are the basic triggers absolutely required to get it to load up. The map is 4 human, 4 comp, 1 rescuable.

the basic stuff you need in terms of triggers is already given to you when you make a new map.

other than that you need:

scenario => player properties => make sure at least 2 ppl are playing
scenario => force properties => make sure they are at least 2 sides

and lay out starting locations for all players involved.

what do u mean u can't get it to load up? you mean in the game itself? that problem has something to do with your trigger code.

you'll have to delete your triggers one by one until you find out what trigger is causing the problem.

Exact problem.

The error is:

Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:6f0864BA

The instruction at '0x6F0864BA' referenced memory at '0x40400010'.
The memory could not be 'read'.

I have a hacked version, could that be the problem?

Probably not, but it is possible. The only way to find out is to buy the game!

the 'memory could not be read error' is not uncommon in the war3 mapmaking world.

do what i said before:

"you'll have to delete your triggers one by one until you find out what trigger is causing the problem."

    Actually I was just playing with having some kind of mention of the food forum and recipes on the main page to test and see if it would engage some of those people to post something. It is just weird to get so much traffic and no engagement

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
