Anyone know of a diff vers of the world editor? I've been veiwing other posts and stuff and i noticed stuff like JASS and world editor unlimited. I"m still trying to figure stuff out in the editor i had, but should i get a diff one if there is one? I'd apreciate the help.

There you can download WEU, which has many features. It'll give you many more options in the Trigger Editor, as well as some OBject options and secret models/skins/icons.

I dont think WEU has any secret skins. The only secret model i think is burning archer, and lots of extra icons.

Under Extra, you'll see secret models and icons. You have tons of missle models as well. Skins, you can access by going to some of the normal units. You can choose whether or not to use them, but I forget where that option is. (Secret ones such as new skeleton skins for archer, skeleon orc and warrior. Also for some of the creeps as well)

And as for JASS ... thats the raw code that forms the heart of most complex games. *shudders* Unfortunately, you really need to know what you're doing to be able to access its potential ----- wc3sear.ch has TONS of JASS code script you can use for your map. The other 'regular' triggers are known as the GUI, or graphical user interface, to help the not-so-adept-at-programming people . But, one strange thing is that, if you use map optimizer to strip off the GUI triggers, you can still make things work in Jass ---- of course, this goes under the category (usually) of map protecting, which we DONT help people or sponser here lol .

Actually, JASS is only used by Blizzard. Most games use C and C++ if I'm correct.

No it doesn't.

PitzerMike isn't physcic, he can't see what the new patch has in store. He also doesn't have time to be updating as soon as the patch comes out, and WEU and Battle.net are NOT directly linked.

They have a temporary patch over at www.Wc3Campaigns.com which allows you to use the enw actions and functions, some of which WEU doesn't have.
