How do I make an Event corresponding with the pressing of a keyboard key other than the Arrow Keys Like NumPlus and NumMinus.

You can't, unless you make an ability with the hotkey, and use a unit begins casting an ability, but the unit can always cast the ability manually.

he is still talking about this same subject, he doesn't want to it be as an ability.
there must be some way for another key press response

I've looked at the jass code for the keypress event

call TriggerRegisterPlayerKeyEventBJ( gg_trg_Walk_Up_Start_Copy, Player(0), bj_KEYEVENTTYPE_DEPRESS, bj_KEYEVENTKEY_UP )

the bj_KEYEVENTKEY_UP is a variable and I'd bet it contains the ascii number for the up arrow

I still don't think with jass the world editor will let you do another key.

Go to the Free Triggers thread... i saw a trigger that might be helpful to you... it allows you to control where the hero goes with the keys...

You COULD have a unit always selected but give it locust or make it ... somewhere off in a corner, and then Try That! That is how Blizzard did it, anyhow.
