Koopa Troopa Madness!
**This map is currently in it's beta phase. Please post all bug finds/suggestions/feedback. Thank you!**
This is a four player game, in which each player tries to kill as many Koopa Troopas to gain the most possible points and win the game. Choose from one of seven different arenas to do battle in.
The Characters:
Mario*
Luigi
Wario
Waluigi
The Baddies:
Green Koopa Troopa: These little guys are no threat, they have low HP and like to scurry about.
Red Koopa Troopa: They have double the health of Green Koopa Troopas, and are a little tougher to kill.
Para Troopa: They fly, the only way to take them down is with items.
Hammer Bro.: These bad-tempered, hammer-throwing, s.o.b.'s will lob their hammers at you so watch out!
Bomb-omb: They blow up when killed and deal damage. They also like to blow up on you randomly so proceed with caution.
Spiny: It hurts to touch them, so you'll take damage when you attack.
Boo: These tricky little guys will disappear when threatened.
Walking Bonus: These little coins with legs are very, very fast. if you can catch one you'll get a lot points.
Bowser: King Koopa himself is a formidable opponent. he has high health and can dish out tons of damage, but yields a lot of points when defeated.
Items:
Koopa Shell: A shell that can be thrown to a target location, damaging all land units in a line.
Spiny Shell: Can be thrown at a target enemy unit, dealing large damage and stunning it.
Fire Flower: Shoots fire balls at a target enemy unit that deal damage. Contain multiple charges.
Red Mushroom: Makes the user big and powerful, giving him extra damage and hit points.
Poison Mushroom: Makes all other players slow and gives them a chance to miss on attacks.
Star: Makes the user invincible for a period of time.
1-Up Mushroom: gives an extra life to the collector, making him revive much faster.
Coin: Gives the collector an extra point.
The Arenas:
Note: The number of warp pipes determines how many Koopas will be spawned at once.
Peach's Castle: Home to Mario's beloved Princess Peach, this map features four warp pipes so many Koopas can spawn from all over, as well as three dangerous Thwomps, which will slam down on you should you come underneath. There is also an upper level in this arena.
Warp Pipes: 4
Royal Gardens: Just outside of Peach's Castle lies the Royal Gardens. This map featurs four warp pipes centered in the center of the arena and lots of open space. Hit the POW block to leave a stunning impression.
Warp Pipes: 4
Mushroom Valley: The largest map of them all, Mushroom Valley is very cluttered and your vision is often very small. Beware of the vicious Piranha plants.
Warp Pipes: 3
Corridor: A long and narrow map, Corridor features two gates that will open periodically to let Koopas in or out. When the gates are shut you have only your opponents around, so be careful.
Warp Pipes: 2
Koopa Troopa Cove: A small island in the middle of beautiful Koopa Troopa Cove. This map features two Koopa Troopa Battleships that will fire onto the mainland, so don't stop moving.
Warp Pipes: 2
The Pit: The Pit is the smallest arena. It features only one warp pipe and a lot of open space, so the best way to keep ahead is to keep your opponents out of the game.
Warp Pipes: 1
Dry Dry Desert: The most dry and arid region of Super Mario World, when the sand storms kick up in Dry Dry Desert, you'll go slow, but the Koopas won't!
Warp Pipes: 3
This map has AI support for those who can't host, but as always, real players are recommended.
*Mario (Player 1(Red)) must be present to select a time limit and arena.
