leaderboard help

I have a leaderboard for a TD with seven players. Players 1-6 show their kills, and player 7 is to show lives. I have made variables for each of these. At the begginning of the map there is a dialog box, with 3 difficulty options. Each one sets the lives to a different number. I am pretty sure the variables are being changed fine, but the numbers are not showing up on the leaderboard. I have the values for the players set to the right variables too. Please help!!!!

by the way is there something wrong with my editor? when i check the array box on a variable, no box appears to set the number of the array. Is this weird or am i just missing somthing?

Create an integer varible for all the players.
For player7 set the integer to the number of lives u want it to be
(default is 0 for all players)

New Trigger
Event-Game time is 0.01 secs
Action-Create a new leadorboard with title kills and lives or w.e
Action-Add player 1 to leadorboard with title name of player one kills.
(repeat for players 1-6)
Player7-Action-Add player 7 to leadorboard with title name lives

New Trigger-Update Kills
Event-a unit dies
Condition-Owner of killing unit equal to player 1 red
Action-Set (variblenameforplayer1) to (variblenameforplayer1) +1
Action-Change value for player 1 red to (variblenameforplayer1)

New Trigger -Update Livse
Action-Unit enters region/rect
Condition-Owner of trigger unit equal to player12brown or w.e
Action-Set (variblenameforplayer7) to (variblenameforplayer7) -1
Action-Change value for player7 to (variblenameforplayer7)
