Leaderboard im confused or stupid

I am still having trouble with leaderboard. The problem is that when player red gets the kill he gets 1 point but then when play blue gets kill he get like 5 or 7 points. I dont get it.

If the posted trigger is what you're actually using, I'm not surprised

Set kills = ((Player number of (Owner of (Killing unit))) + kills)
Lets see, assuming player 1 does the first kill,
then "kills" will be, starting from 0, 1 + 0 = 1.
Now, player 3 kills something, his own units for example,
then kills will be 3 + 1 = 4, with "3" being the player number of player 3.
And so on...

You really do need one variable per player, preferrably as array.


Very simple "Leaderboard kills" example:

Leaderboard
    Events
        Unit - A unit Dies
    Conditions
        (Owner of (Dying unit)) Not equal to (Owner of (Killing unit))
    Actions
        Set myKills[(Player number of (Owner of (Killing unit)))] = (myKills[(Player number of (Owner of (Killing unit)))] + 1)
        Leaderboard - Change the value for (Owner of (Killing unit)) in (Last created leaderboard) to myKills[(Player number of (Owner of (Killing unit)))]
        Leaderboard - Sort (Last created leaderboard) by Value in Descending order

With "myKills" being a variable of type "integer array" with <number of players> elements.

Ace heart what u dont understand is that i have teams. So it wouldnt be change the value for owner of killing unit. This is where im stuck.

Do you:
- need a team score only
- a per player score _and_ a team total

Can players change teams?
