I still cannot use this program :( I download the .zip file and unzipped it all into a folder, but when I click on LeakCheck.exe my computer makes that windows error sound ("BUMM!!") and nothing happens. At all. I only hear the error sound, no messages, anything.

(I run windows XP SP3)

Any help?

See if you have updated your Visual Basic Runtime files. I'm sorry that I can't do much of a help to you.

One thing I guess I am not sure of, is I had already an action to remove a tmp point:

Code:
Point - Remove MyLocation

But according to your program it still leaks and I should try:

Code:
Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_MyLocation)

How do I actually know if my script worked or not?
How do I know if your suggestion does?
Would it fcuk things up if I used both?

Point - Remove does not exist in normal WE so you either have UMSWE or WEU. Neither is recommended really and neither is supported by Leak Check.
That said, you can use either that action or the custom script. It's the same, but do not use both.

Alright. Why do I get this error when I try to open the program (I click the thing with a white window as an icon, named ''LeakCheck'')?

The error is: ''Component 'RICHTX32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing of invalid''

I don't do anything with the program, I simply download it and then unpack it using winrar, and finally I try to open the thing I named above. :/ Anyone got a solution?

I've always been s huge fan of this tool, and just realized today that 3.1 was out. I expect that this one will be just as useful as the one before.
Great job on a project well done.

I just came across this program and wanted to use it myself
I experienced the same problem like the users above so i tryed a bit and found a solution:
Just download the attachment and extract those two files into your leakcheck folder
The .zip contains RICHTX32.OCX and COMCTL32.OCX just for those paranoids out there :D

I just had to point out that the missing files, shouldn't be trusted. And, it still doesn't work, there ARE missing files, anyone who is trustable and got 'em?

  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
