LISD's cruel cruel trick

Yea yea im still in school, but finaly in high school, education is a big factor to me so i figured i'de grab me some college credit whiel im in high school with LISD's AP program, so simple i figured i'de have me some credit by the end of my freshman year, or so i thought turns out im in for a long year of lots of work with no pay off!
get my scheduel oh yea after a logn descussion with my dad i check my self off 2 AP classes, and im good to go! my parents talked me into to coming along with them to parent oriantation, well i shoulda stayed home! i soon learned i had made a horrible mistake. now coming form freaking middle school, im quite used to PRE ap classes and i always figured, why do they do all that work for nothing? PRE ap gives you nothing! phh u'll never catch me in a pre ap class.
Or so i thought...

you see LISD is having trouble keeping thier AP system a float (becuse 55% of thier students fail at least on esubject...pitifull!) during the student orentation, they tell us how good the AP porgram is and how we can start getting college credits as soon as we enter high school, LIES!
these smart little demons trick tons of fresh men every year this way! and poor me fell right for it! . they tell you "COLLEGE CREDIT GET IT NOW!" but realy all it is is the ONLY way they keep thier preciuos AP program a float.
So as i said before i was talked into going to parent orentation, after i turned in my shceduael. so now, the subject of AP comes up ,and ill spare you long and pointles details, bascialy the speaker said "freshmen aren't alout to take AP classes", so now im stuck with a year of PRE AP, more work for no output! i've joined the classes i've said for years u'de never catch me in!
and as if it werent bad enough one the the useless pre ap classes has a summer project! ARGH! so this is LISD's cruel cruel CRUEL trick to get ya in thier program for a useless year! i can't belive they'de do this

Honestly man, no offense, but high-school freshmen simply aren't ready to take AP courses. Although how much you've learned and how quick you are both play important roles, AP requires maturity of the mind. I'm going to be a senior this year and I'll be taking 6 AP's (one is a dual-enrollment, I don't know if I'll take the test or not), I took 3 my junior year, and 1 my sophomore year. I completely bombed the test my sophomore year, because I took it lightly and I figured, "how hard can it be?" Well, I went into the test and it was terrible, I barely knew anything. Of course, the test is designed to fail as many students as possible, so that's another factor against freshmen: the test is a competition. If everyone in the nation fails, you're lucky, you'll pass. However, if the average student does well, that puts the freshman at a disadvantage, because the senior has had more experience. So its terrible that you feel duped, but in my opinion, you're saving 90 bucks per test and an ugly transcript.
