    So, someone asked me to make a bar to display on top of a unit.
    So, I made one for him.

    Old Bar Functions
    It works like this: Every 5% of the bar has an animation ( 22 "loading" animations in total), along with a birth and a death animation.
    You have to use: call SetUnitAnimationByIndex( YourDummyUnit, AnimationIndex) to adjust the loadingbar.
    However, I don't know the animation index, so you'd have to test for yourself ( I'm thinking that 1 - 22 are the load animations ( 22 loads the bar from 0% to 100% ), 0 being birth, and 23 death) since I'm not too sure about that.

    New Bar functions
    Unlike the "Old Bars", the New Bars are set up differently. They move from left to right and have one additional animation ( from 0% - 100%, every 5% are animations ). Use : call SetUnitAnimationByIndex( YourDummyUnit, AnimationIndex) to adjust the loadingbar.

    This pack comes with a Green, Blue, Yellow, Red and Purple loading Bar.

    So yeah, you can now make spells that CHARGE YOUR LAZOWR. Just kidding, do whatever you want with it ;) Just don't forget to use it in contraction with a dummy instead of using it as a special effect since you have to alter the animations ;)

    Maybe it has to be a bit higher =P
    But I havn't tried to attach it on a unit yet =P

    Well, for now you could adjust Unit Fly height =)

    height and scaling can be changed with the object editor easily.

    is there a way to place these below a unit instead of above?
    (i'm thinking having a y offset on the trigger...)

    You could. However, depending on where your unit is facing, the bar is either in front, or behind that unit.

    So, best would be to keep the bars on top.

    EDIT: Try doing: call SetUnitPosition( YourDummyUnit, X, Y +/- ~50)

    If that doesn't work for you, then you'd have to do it with polar projection.

    just a question: is the left flame always behind the bar? it looks funny.

    Because it's all on one plane :eek:
    I'll take a look at it, wait a second.

    EDIT: Changed Priority Planes. Shouldn't be behind the bar anymore.
    Re-uploaded the Pack =)

    EDIT: Hmmm... I know whats wrong with it. Somehow, additive and blending effects don't like each other :eek:
    I'll see what I can do about that =/

    I dont know but the priority planes are really messed up in my end..

    the fills keep jittering from being in front and behind the frames.

    is it because i scaled the unit down?

    Nah, I fixed the problem now =)
    Also re-uploaded it =P

    It doesn't jitter anymore and the particles are in place =)

    the only thing that I dislike is the animation... it move the start and the end of the bar both to the center :/

    this is definitely the most useful custom model i have ever seen. i think it should be stickied for incredible usefulness.

    You didn't even import your own custom texture >_>

    EDIT: I could make it use in-game textures instead of Blade's =P So, in the end, you save ~35kb space

    I imported it. but it seems it doesnt work.
    did it work on yours?

    I tried the original "Loading-BarBorder.BLP" (Renamed it to BarBG.blp).
    It works for that texture but not for my edited one..

    yes i did.

    Just a working ingame screenshot of the newbars will prove that something's wrong on my part :).

    Hmmm... Weird enough, that it doesn't show up o_O

    It works with the other Texture though =/

    Wait, I'll re-do the texture with in-game textures. I'll remove the New Pack for now.

    EDIT: Ok, I have adjusted everything and tested it in-game.
